SPS specializes in fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) enclosures for housing sensitive electronic and industrial equipment. Expertise in the industrial instrumentation field as well as the fiberglass industry allows the resultant end product to be particularly suitable from a utilization standpoint.

Standard Enclosures are manufactured for SPS using the RTM "(Resin Transfer Molding)" process. Enclosures are constructed from the highest quality glass reinforced, epoxy vinyl ester resin, using matching molds. Enclosures are produced with satin finished "Gel Coat" outer surfaces for ultimate "UV" protection, and long lasting maintenance free exteriors. Wall thickness is controlled at 3/16" to carry (3) three mats of continuous strand fiberglass for high strength in all areas, especially in the corners. Additionally, extra thick "reinforced" areas at the enclosure joints, as well as the hinge and clasp load points, provide overall high rigidity, secure gasket retention, and alignment accuracy of the box parts. Enclosures are fire retardant, self extinguishing, and impact resistant.
