Modular Building Vent Covers

FRP vent covers provide intake and exhaust air flow through our modular buildings. FRP vent covers are manufactured using multiple layers of fiberglass matte and either Derakane vinyl ester resin, or general purpose resin. The exterior finish is our standard UV block gelcoat, colour matched to the building. The FRP vents offer rain, snow, rodent and insect protection, depending on the customers request.

FRP vent covers are attached to our panels, in a location where a bulkhead is formed during the manufacturing process. The standard vent covers are supplied with galvanized carbon steel screens but can be upgraded to stainless steel or fiberglass.

There are four standard sizes of FRP vent covers. The sizes are 8" x 8", 12-1/2" x 12-1/2", 16-1/2" x 16-1/2" and 24" x 24". These four vent sizes can accommodate most air flow requirements but where our standard vents are insufficient custom vents can be manufactured quickly and cost effectively using temporary molds.

Internal louvered vents are also an option and can be added to the inside of the FRP vent covers. The picture to the right shows the internal louvered vent (click to enlarge).
