Safety
Showers
The
following specifications outline the standard features of SPS's
Safety Showers:
- Modular
type enclosure, which can be sized for application. Standard sizes
are 4’4” wide x 4’4” deep OR 4’4”
wide x 8’6” deep. Any size combination can be accommodated.
- FRP material
has 30-year life for structure and appearance. Enclosure material
can be classified as 94V0.
- R12 or R18
insulation to minimize heat input required. Heating system can
be provided.
- Exterior
can be colored to safety specification (Red, Yellow) and interior
is bright white for easy illumination.
- Double swing
salon doors can be provided with stainless steel hinges to prevent
corrosion problems.
- Second access
door available (all doors with or without windows)
- Top lifting
lugs or fork pockets for transport
- Insulated
and drained floor. Drain can be side or bottom.
- Door alarms,
flow alarms, and temperature alarms for water and enclosure can
be provided.
- Control
system to operate warning lights, horns and remote alarm systems
available.
- Area classification
can be met from General Purpose to Class 1 Division1 - Zone 0,1,
or 2.
- Mixing systems
can be fully self contained, steam, electric, or mixed tempered
water to meet full requirements of standards ANSI Z358.
